Yup, Living in Maine sure has its challenges this year!
Last week it snowed 6 out of 7 days and I pulled out the
snowblower twice on the last storm on Sunday...Bleck!
Anyways, After watching the weather, it looks like we are
going to get upwards of an inch of ice tomorrow and there
is a VERY high probability we will lose power for a couple
of days...which means NO internet, No Power and NO heat!
Upon that news, I need to cancel tonights New Member
meeting. I need to do a few things to prepare and also I
plan to work online through the night right into the morning
hours to be able to get done all I can before the power goes
out here.
Are horrendous weather events increasing? It sure seems
like it...
Anyways, Now that my business is 99.99% Internet based...
Power outages can have a pretty big impact on my business.
We will reschedule the new members meeting for next
tuesday at 1pmest and 9 pm est....
Thanks for understanding...
And what the heck am I going to do without the
internet?...I suggested to my wife we put 6 or
7 candles together and cook marshmallows in
the living room
