There is LOTS going on at ASC!
First, I am sure you are aware of the removal of
pheedpress and the new incredible pluggin that you
can ONLY get here at ASC since Brandon is the
one who created it...
The new pluggin is called Velocity Feeds and it
replaces the old, tired and server wrecking pheedpress.
David has created 2 videos explaining how to install
and use this amazing new pluggin. It has some really
neat features and is simple to use (once you watch
the videos that is) even for the technically challenged 
First, if you do NOT have this pluggin, you should download
it today. Just download it and upzip it, then watch the 2 videos
on how to install and use it. You will be up and running
high quality feeds that Google loves on your sites in minutes.

Please remember that videos require lots of juice and bandwidth to
run, so let the video load, and if you have any issues, just walk away
for a bit and let the video fully load.
Now you are a pro at setting up and using velocity feeds!
Next order of business is the 16 Steps training program. Feedback
has been tremendous and those who are taking massive action are
discovering amazing things through this process.
This week we held the live training on Step 6 and Step 7. The 2nd
training for Step 7 has some technical challenges with the conference
software, but we got through it ok. Both of those trainings are now
up on the Authority Center Site in the coaching area.
To access all the 16 step trainings, just log into the Authority Site
Center and click on the coaching tab. Then click on the Group coaching
link. You will see them laid out starting with Step one all the way through
Step 7. We have been holding 2 sessions per Step so I have been taking
the best recording of the 2 and uploading them for you to view online.
You will find in Step 4 a bonus software called forum assistance pro. This
software will allow you to load up all the forums you attend and track and
post directly from the software. There is a registration link where you will
need to register the software and get the access code for the software.
This is a FREE gift for you to use. It is NOT our software and we will NOT
be supporting it, so do NOT put in a support ticket if you have problems. You
may email me if you have questions or have difficulties with it.
Step 7 that we covered on Friday is VERY important to the success of
your business. Getting organized is something that most of us struggle with, but
what it does is, it will give you peace of mind and save you a ton of time that
can easily be wasted.
In Step 7, I have included some of the resources I use to insure computer
security and also ways to keep your computer running great! I forgot to add
CCleaner to the list, so make sure you download the free tool as well. Just
Google "CCleaner" ---It is a great free application.
Backing up your wordpress database is essential...have you done it
lately? No? Then stop what you are doing and back up your database.
Another member mentioned a great way to back up your hard drive
online using a company called Carbonite...There were several good
stories about using this service and may be something worth while for
you to look into as a way to back up your hard drive. Believe me you
do NOT want to lose your data. I have twice (I am a hard learner) and
it is a nightmare. So make sure you put in place systems to protect your
business...It is a million dollar business, so don't be careless
Step 6 there was some recording issues, so the video and audio ends a bit
early as we lost the last 7 to 10 minutes of the webinar. No worries though,
ordering your site build is pretty straight forward.
MAKE SURE you do NOT forward you domain to our servers until you
have completely filled out step one of the site build process and received the
conformation from us.
As you are working on your site or getting your site up, we encourage
you to submit your site to the "ASC member site Feedbacks" Section
of the forum. The Partners and others will critique your site and help
you move along much faster. Do you know what it would cost to have
a professional developer look at your site and critique it? At ASC we
will do that for free as part of your membership. Just be willing to take
a few lumps as we tend to tell it like it is But it is for your growth and
benefit...SO make sure you take advantage of this, it will help you
alot and do NOT be shy here about showing your site.
Also, there has been issues where people are confused about the
various pluggins. Please understand that we have been successfully
publishing at ASC for over 2 years and there have been many versions
of wordpress since ASC launched. Some pluggin videos pertain to
older versions. On that note, David is today going through some of
the videos on pluggins and attempting to organize them a bit. Technology
changes fast and wordpress changes even faster, keep that in mind
because as long as you decide to grow your business online, you will
be dealing with growing and evolving technology that you will have to
adapt to as well.
Last, but not least...I have received some indication that some of you
are NOT receiving the emails we send out. So starting today as a way
for you to NOT miss any updates, we will add a separate area of the
forum that will include all emails that we send out. What this means is
you will get them in your RSS reader (you have set up your Rss Reader,
haven't you?) as well as through the email system. This way you
can be sure to always get our info delivered to your desktop one
way or another.....Whew, this was alot of info!
